I personnaly think the new logo is a very good one compare to the old one.

The Ohio State flag wrap aroud the star in a C shape for the colombus on a dark blue uniform looks great!

The old logo is from 2001, not 1991.

Actually it's from 2000, I just forget to change things when I copy and paste because that's how I roll, I guess. Thanks for letting me know.

I really like this logo being that I lived in Columbus for many years...its got a nice Ohio pride thing going on with the flag - Didn't like the confederate "ribbon"(as some called it in Ohio) at all and I'm really glad the bug is gone - Great job with the updated version

I don't think it was supposed to be a "Confederate" ribbon since Ohio was part of the Union.

It wasn't, but it was called that nonetheless. It's called being derisive. :) Similar comments were made about Stinger's (the bug's) uniform in the original secondary logo - the stars at the collar were a Confederate thing.

And while we're on the subject of the logo - does it piss anyone else off that ESPN is STILL using last year's? GRAR.

If you look at the old confederate battle flag, you can see why some people might have called it a "confederate ribbon."
