The new logo is too cartoonish. The 1992 logo is the best, with nice sharp lines, and the team name in the gold half-circle is a nice touch.

So the 1992 and 1997 logos are different, but the early 90s hawks logo and the current hawks logo is the same? Make up your mind on what a tweak is.

I'm sorry Wade, but do you really want to instruct me on how to run my own site? I think I'm doing all right so far. lol

Anyway, I don't mind explaining my choices so long as I'm not be scolded for not doing so.

With the 'Hawks, we were looking at differences that were simply about cleaning up lines. I included a more hand-drawn-looking logo in that set for folks to vote on. I'm sorry it wasn't the one you approved.

Here with the Sens, the difference deals with the text of the team name being removed in 1997 along with the helmet element and other minor tweaks. To me those differences are material, more so that cleaned-up lines.

Make sense? I'd be happy to go into more detail if asked kindly to do so. Thanks for commenting!

I voted for the 2007 logo because I've always wondered what those pointy things and red C thing were. This new logo(and the profile one) gets rid of those while managing to not be boring.

In 97, the Sens removed the lettering because they wanted thier logo to not be purely anglophone in a effort to attract french fans from Gatineau, Quebec, which is just on the other side of the river. Notice that you have the option to see thier website in french and they are then called "Sénateurs d'Ottawa". Even the Montreal Canadiens dont translate thier name to "Canadians".

Go Sens Go!

amazingly, i still like the new one better when they're up side by side. the 'cape' was strange on the old one
