Devils Unveil New Uniforms! (Sort Of)
All right, so Lou Lamoriello has already said there will be no unveiling ceremony for the New Jersey Devils new Rbk EDGE uniforms, but they've got a picture of the new home sweater on their official web site.
There you see Patrik Elias getting his picture taken prior to training camp. Exact same design. Lou didn't lie.
It's not earth-shattering but I felt it was worth posting. Thanks to Jeff for the tip!

Nothing was wrong with these jerseys to begin with, and to be honest, I was dreading the possibility of a change. Now I'm pleasantly relieved.
It should come to no one's surprise (Devils fans, especially) that the team didn't change the uni. I mean, for how long did we hear that Lou would never go for a 3rd uniform? What makes you think the organization would change any of the unis now?
As a Devils fan, I'm happy. It could have been a LOT worse.
good choice to keep the jersey the same, but what else would we expect from lamoriello.
Also, the purpose of the reebok edge jerseys is not to change the logo of every team. it is more for the performance aspect than anything else.
Jimmie, sorry, but screw Reebok. Their image of the NHL has given birth to some pretty horrid uniforms. I should know living in Buffalo.

jimmie powel - screw helping the concept that Reebok had in mind, it's a bloody joke. i applaud the teams that kept their designs as close to their old jerseys as possible. they are to be commended. the reebok cash grab on this marketing ploy just stinks, the nhl should have known better.

very nice sweater. a helluva lot better than the sabres but almost anyone can top that!
It looks the exact same. And that's why it's the best of the lot.

So-so uni's for a team that should have been moved or disbanded years ago.
moizmad are you upset because we make the playoffs every year or is it that we've won 3 cups in the last 12 years, dont be mad im sure you team is doing just as well
