Happy April Fools' Day!

It's safe now. So just to clarify, you guys got it right. Yesterday's post about the Rbk EDGE uniforms going away was obviously too good to be true. My version of an April Fools' joke. Hope I didn't get anybody's hopes up. Come on, Project Runway? Really?

But I've always been a fan of the jokes and, well, I couldn't resist this one. I'm weak. Hope you guys won't think less of me. But I did try to make it obvious that I was kidding while at the same time trying to still keep it just this side of believable.

I did mean what I said at the end. I appreciate you guys for continuing to come back to visit the site. You're the reason I write here at all. Thanks!

Yeah...I fell for it...
The sad part is that a Bettman/Bravo co-op isn't that absurd when you take into consideration his ultimate desire kill the sport of hockey altogether. The only thing that was hard to believe was you being "asked not to write about" something and doing it anyways.

I also fell for it. I thought the whole new re-design was a little far fetched but was looking forward to it. So many jerseys need re-designs!
Good one, you got me, which is why I'll keep coming back to this site!

Don't mess with the Reebok Edge jerseys. I hate the cut. Never mess with the hockey.

i know bettman's daughter and almost went to her to tell her dad that he's insane. glad i realized it was a joke in time not to make an idiot out of myself haha

I bought it. Yikes. After such a depressing season for my Bolts, I'd fall anything.

On a side note, putting "Bolts" on the front of our third will singlehandedly grind to a halt any plans I had of buying an alternate jersey next season. Which is sad, because I buy one every season, an authentic at that, and customize it, meaning they'll be out over 300 bucks from me alone.

I loved the idea of blue, but unless I get a lightning bolt logo on the front, it's no sale for me..

Really, it is sad that most people (including me) think so low of Bettman that it was actually believable.

Good one though, my hat goes off to you.

The funny part about the Project Runway thing was that I remember reading an article in maybe the New York Post (or some other NY daily) about the new Edge jerseys around the time they were all being unveiled and they asked Nina Garcia, a judge on the show, about what she thought. So when I read the April Fool's Post I thought that's what made it somewhat believable for me.
