Yes! Down with the canuck logo.

I'm voting for the canucks because i hate the green hartford logo. If it was the 1992 Hartford Logo, i would of voted for that. but The Vintage Vancouver gets my vote over the Ugly Green version of the Hartford logo.

na the nucks logo is so overated. The Whalers hands down!

The old Canucks logo is terribly overrated. I think this is because everything they've had since is generally considered to be hideous. Personally, the skate logo from 1978-1997 is the best, with the new version of the Orca logo being second.

Its definatly overrated...the Canucks only use the logo on the shoulders (this year, they terribly "modernised" it), and before this year's ice, it was on the redline. A unique logo (a hidden "C"), but its quite terrible to todays standards. The Skate was their most successful logo (2 cup runs).

The winner here is the Whalers (I woulda used the 1992 logo, it has more depth).

the '92 logo for the whalers does look a lot better.. you can actually see the H more clearly. [thats like... the coolest aspect of this logo to me]

im a hurricanes fan, but still a proud supporter of the whalers. its a shame they had to move from a city that loved them.. but i can assure we love them here too =]

The Original Canucks Logo is one of the Best in the NHL. It Pwns Almost Every Logo in this Tournament!

Who Cares if the Flying Skate Got Us Our Best Success and only Two Stanley Cup Finals, Doesn't Make it Any Different from Every Other Logo and Jersey in the League. Our most Infamous Jerseys Seem to take us all the way. Maybe the Other Teams Couldn't Take Us Seriously, or Maybe we just had a very Kickass Team, I Don't Know I wasn't into hockey or even born back then!!
Okay Enough Rant.
Support the Rink, The Stick, and The C! Down with the Whalers!

Whalers vs. Nordiques in the final...

Too bad one of these great logos has to disappear in the first round, but, despite being canucks fan, the whalers logo gets my vote. It's simply one of the best logos the NHL has seen. Simple, effective, unique.

To echo the last poster: Nordiques vs. Whalers final!

The Rink Canucks logo is my all time favourite NHL logo, so it gets my vote, down with the Whale!

The Whalers logo is brilliant. It has the H for Hartford, the W for Whalers and a whale fluke to top it all off.

The H in the logo reminds me of the hidden arrow in the Fed Ex logo. Great use of negative space.

Don't get me wrong, the Canucks logo is quite good as well, but I think it'd be a travesty if it beat out the Whalers logo.

Two great logos head to head again...it was a tough decision but the Canucks I like better - From early days of getting hockey cards this logo I always liked

Well this should be a easy win for the Canucks. The whalers logo and jerseys were widely considered the most hideous in all of sports.

I think the Canucks logo is far better than the whalers logo. It looks boring, lame, and ugly. Everyone should be voting for the Canucks to crush the whalers logo. Lets bury it like we have the team.

Was Steve trying to be ironic? The Canucks have never had a nice jersey, and this acclaimed logo of theirs is simply dull. The Whalers were widely considered hideous? They had simple colors and striping, and the logo has received much praise here and elsewhere. It's somewhat inventive in using negative space, as another poster pointed out. Not many other logos do that. The Canucks logo is just a stick laid over a rink passed off as forming a "C". Let's not have to post pictures of their late '70s uniforms, eh?

this is a tough one... these are my two FAVOURITE logos of all time, and they're up against each other... but, being a canucks fan... that's where my vote goes!
