Giguere's mask is absolutely terrible. Anaheim tries to move away from the Disney/cartoon image and what does he add to his mask? Roboduck.
Auld's on the other hand is simple, but probably one of the best in the league.
By the way, the other side as AA (Alex Auld) in old english where the BB is on the side that is visible to us.
This is a hard choice, Giguere's goes all out and has an interesting design while Auld's is so simple and that makes it good. Theyre both pretty great in their own different ways.
I love Auld's mask. It has clean lines and a concise design. I don't dislike Giguere's but there's nothing special about it and Auld is just that good. Too bad Auld isn't as good of a goalie as he mask is good looking...

Giguere's mask has a very dynamic and agressive feel to it... Auld's is simple, but very neat... Hard to say which one is better because these are two different approaches...
storm brewing at the honda centre and un-intimidating terminator robo-duck dont make for a great mast concept. it looks decent since the artist did a good job, but it's kinda lame.
Auld's is nice and clean.

Not really digging the robo-duck or whatever Giguere's is supposed to be.
Giguere has impressive artwork but Auld's is classy. Goin' with my Boston homeboy.

i like the secondary logo on aulds but the stripes makes him look like a honeybee.
giguere's looks silly. he must have a better mask from back in the day lying around somewhere. here's an idea, since lalime does marvin the martian, giggy should do daffy duck. no disney ties anymore. even if it's still a cartoon theme, it's better than terminator duck.
i like how giguere has the pond on the front of his mask with the red sky
i think the terminator duck thing is dumb though
Gotta go with Alex Auld, especially since it's a throwback tribute to Andy Moog's mask from the 90's.

I'm a Ducks fan and I think Giguere's mask is absolutely horrendous. Conversely, Auld's mask appears to be the only mask on here thus far that doesn't induce vomiting when looked at. So how is Giguere winning here??

both of these masks are marlene ross and both kind suck, imo.
as a goalie i think Auld's would have looked awesome if the paint stopped at the cage and it was white (see backstrom kipper etc.)
I hate the robo duck and gigure's overall lack of athleticism.
my vote goes to auld.
Don't be decieved by the simplicity of Auld's mask, its very very cool. Look for more images of it if you can.
One of my very favorite masks, reminiscient of an old Andy Moog mask he wore in boston somewhat.
Dig the AA on one side and BB on the other two.
