this is where i differ from the "slug-haters", i think the scouts logo is pretty boring, lots of unused space and could be more creative

There is no way that the Sabres' logo is better than the Scouts'. I want a recount!

haha

It's not over yet, but come on!

Can you please put up a tournament schedule like you have in the past.

At least the Scouts logo actually has a scout in it, and an easily recognizable one at that.

Salt the slug. Worst logo ever.

i cant in good conscience vote for the slug in this one...the scouts logo is terrible. it looks bad, terrible color scheme, an all around loser. time for the slug to make its exit from this tourney.

sabres fans are just a bunch of whiners... I agree it was a bad decision to take out the vintage logo, but come on... your new logo is not as horrendous as those of other teams...

The Sabres fans ARE whiners. I honestly don't see what's so life threatening about the Sabres logo. It's not great but it's not as bad as everyone thinks it is. I think a lot of people are hating the logo just because everyone else is because the logo really isn't bad.

i don't mind the sabres logo prob bc i'm not a sabres fan. I voted KC bc like everyone else said... it's just boring and horrible. i wanna pee on it.

I totally agree, the Sabres logo isnt as bad as people think! i didnt like it at first, but i grew on me and it doesnt bother me anymore.

Come on people. the much-maligned buffaslug cannot go down this early!

Haha, recount: i just went over Bush v. Gore for my Constitutional law class yesterday.

These to me are two of the weakest logos in the tournament. It's too bad they're pitted against each other so early.

Scouts is bad but that slug is the worst ever.

Certainly KC's logo is boring but at least it does represent the team’s name/heritage/identity. I'd take an old tattered screen printed t-shirt of it and rock it for the retro value alone.

Buffalo is advertised as a modernized logo but remains worse on so many profound fundamental levels if you stop and objectively think about it.

Buffalo's logo is worse because the sight of it alone draws many different associations with it. More of them resemble dog feces, phallic symbols, and a bright yellow, slimy shell-less mollusk before it resembles actual Sabres.

The reason I hate it so much is that the management of the organization failed to grasp what the majority of fans wanted in a return to blue and gold.

And the logic of marketing assuming that "learning to get used to it" rather than re-introducing an identity the fans and most other hockey fans connect with as and iconic logo is completely absent minded, foolish, and insensitive to the people who pay money to sit in the HSBC arena who would have preferred something better if they had the choice.

The logo was a horrible opportunity lost in re-branding. It only has last years president's trophy to hang that perpetuated all those sales, but I imagine this year will tell a different story when it is said and done.

The Sabres primary identity now consists of a piss-colored, alleged bison arcing and smearing his torso straight down into the ground.

Get fans of good taste to ze choppa...NOW!!

Leave it to Charlie to sum it all up. Kudos bro!

The KC logo is dated to 1974-75'ish, but the big question is how will people feel about the slug 34 years from now as we feel about the KC logo 34 years later?

It's all relative.

In pondering the slug for such a length of time, my crystal ball would last until the 8 year mark or so as I would have gouged my own eyes out with a butter knife by then.

The Buffalogo is not that bad. I think it just needs more vertical mass. There is just too much negative space on the jerseys (like the All-Star jerseys...and Ducks).

I cannot believe the Slugs aren't gonna beat the Scouts (at least as it stands now). Talk about an upset! The Scouts logo is boring and crappy, but a cartoon hairpiece with horns is just godawful! I'm extremely surprised with this turn of events.

OK, so we aren'ta bunch of whiners. Our problem is that the logo is such a poor representation of who we are (The Buffalo SABRES, not the Buffalo Buffaloes). People say that there is a Sabres around the middle? I think that was just someone's way to justify the logo.

The actual Buffalo Sabres logo is pretty well made I think. The colors really go together and overall, the logo's nice. The only problem is yeah it kinda doesn't look like how a buffalo normally stands and the main thing is that its a buffalo, not a sabre. Personally, I like it and I don't think it should be in this tournament but I can see why it is. With this being said, the scouts are worse. I'm so glad the Pens didn't go to KC. Can you imagine a red, yellow and blue penguin?

I think both of these logos are pretty decent, although the Scout is a bit stiff and his surroundings are a bit empty and white.

In any case, I have to vote for the Scouts just to go against the Hysterical Slug-Haters of Buffalo :-P

Still time left, but if things hold steady... wow! When this tourament was announced, who thought that the Sabres wouldn't make it past the first round?!
