I personally think this one doesn't have, like, a clear cut worst. The horse head really isn't that bad looking and I always thought the Coyote was unique looking. That said, I voted for the Coyote, because I happen to like the horse head logo for the Flames
ok really though. What does a horse have to do with Calgary, hockey, or flames. It looks like a rabid horse on heroin. Now the coyote, best color scheme in hockey.
it looks more like a dragon to me... I like the coyotes one... maybe too busy for some, but I like its edgy design...
calgary hosts the calgary stampede which is the one of the biggest events in the world and horses have a huge thing to do with calgary
Y'know what, I abstain. The Coyote has personality and fits the team. I actually think that the horse isn't too bad, either. There are better (worse?) candidates for the title in this tournament.
The Coyotes logo is cool. I can't believe that it even made this tournament. Horse head gets my vote.
I agree, both logos are not that bad. Calgary has the stampede, so the horse makes sense. See also Calgary Stampeders CFL team
Phoenix already had the Road Runners in minor league, so the Coyote works. Also the south western style gave the team a unique look. I think the current logo is far worse.
I don't like either of these logos, but the coyotes one is way worse. That is a horrid horrid logo. One of the worst of all time in my opinion.
For me this is no contest.
I hate the horsehead, for much the same reasons as were already mentioned.
And I also like the old yotes logo a lot. the current design is a downgrade for sure
Coyotes. I'm one of the few that never had a problem with the Flames' horse. I kinda like it, actually.
This poll and the last one were really difficult because all the logos are so bad
I voted Horsehead. I'd rather have my team represented by an ugly coyote with a hockey stick than a boss from Zelda 2.
I never liked that Coyotes logo (though I loved the uniforms in general and I agree with "lostallsympathy" that the color scheme was awesome).
Having said that... the flaming horse head of death is quite possibly the worst logo in the history of sports. Is that even a horse? Or maybe a fire-breathing dragon? Looks more like something you'd see in a sci-fi computer game.
I agree that the coyotes logo is really good, and I also agree that the new coyotes logo is a downgrade and this logo shouldn't even be in this tournament. I also like the flames logo, but not nearly as much. And by reading all of these comments, I have gathered that there is a general consensus that the coyotes logo is better. So it doesn't really make that much sense to me that the coyotes are winning, especially by such a large amount. I mean, the people who voted for the coyotes could just not be leaving comments, but it still seems like some people might not be understanding that you are supposed to be voting for the worst logo.
did the old coyote logo beat the current one?
I personally love both of these logos - especially Calgary's. If you look closely, you'll see a "C" and an "F" coming out from the flames.
I hada hard time voting for Phoenix here, but I'm pretty certain the "winner" of this round won't make it past the next.
at any rate, both logo's aren't that bad and won't get top honors for being horrible. Toss up. I like the Yotes a little more.
I went with the Coyotes. There's something about Pablo Picasso's version of Wile E. Coyote that gets to me. not that I'm a fan of the horse head either.
