I love the Oils alt. logo and hope we get to see it again as a primary jersey logo for in the near future. I think that of the 30+ jerseys I own, the Oils jersey with this logo is my favorite even though I'm a Flyers fan.
I think the only people that would vote for the Dallas logo here are either complete Dallas Fans that couldn't possibly think of voting for anything else... or people that are voting for it as a joke due to the mooterus nickname.
I can't possibly see anyone voting for it because it's actually a better logo. heh.
this one should win hands down. although i love the sabres, the oilers logo is just down right awesome.
i hate this oilers logo why is it falling to earth like a meteor...are the oilers so stupid the planted explosives to get to the oil???

I agree with everyone who thinks the oilers alternative logo looks just great. IMO it's one of the best logos i've ever seen in the nhl (and that coming from a canadiens fan....). I think the oilers should use it as their primary logo since they said their new unis were meant to be part of a new beginning...
I love both of these logos. The Stars one would be so much better if it didn't "map out the stars" that make the constellation. For this reason, I went with the Oilers logo. One other thing to mention, the red was totally useless. Would have been much better without that too.
They both suck. Not sure which one sucks less. Hard choice.
I did not like the mooterus when the Stars wore it and still don't like it. There a quite a bit of these jerseys on ebay for great prices!! I have to go with the Oil. Not that crazy about the logo, but it was the lesser of the two evils.
HA! if this were a contest of greatest nicknames, mooterus would win. sadly its not, so i gotta give it to the oil.
the oilers should definately use this logo over the primary, its one of the best logos i've ever seen, and the oilers current primary logo is crap. the stars logo isn't bad either.

These are possibly the two worst logos in the history of the NHL. The Oilers' alternate looks like some sort of flying mechanical meteor out of "Transformers" or something. And Dallas... I mean... a COW? Why?
I don't know if I can bring myself to vote for either of them.
The most ugly logos in sports. Without a doubt. McFarlane was smoking some good shit when he designed that oilers logo.
The alternate Oilers logo is so far better than the current logo (and better than most NHL logos). The best part of the logo is that each notch in the gear represents one of the Oilers' five Stanley Cup championships. It's sleek, modern, and cool...and while, yes, it does look somewhat like a comet - it's supposed to evoke a drill bit as well. With a name as lame as Oilers, this is a terrific logo.

Hate both of them to be honest, terrible designs. The Dallas one still has me scratching my head that someone thought it was a good idea and even more that this was approved and actually used by the club...what was rejected?!?
I have to vote with the Oil as a Canadian. The design looks interesting but lacks the orange/copper accent colour that might have saved it. This logo would be more at home on a football helmet. Worst uniform overhaul in recent memory, not surprised it's been buried.
The first result in a Google Image search for "uterus constellation" is Marty Turco modeling that disgusting jersey. Ugly logo, even uglier jersey.
