Bolts' New Pants

This may not be of any real interest to anyone who isn't a Tampa Bay Lightning fan, but to those who are, here's a look at the new pants being sported by players during training camp at the Ice Sports Forum in Brandon.

In what seems to be an effort to add more blue into the uniform, the Lightning bolt on the pants — which I'm so glad they kept — now has a blue stripe beneath it.

Incidentally, the new Lightning home jersey I ordered online three weeks ago just got shipped today! I can't wait for it to get here!

I have to admit that after playing NHL 08 That seeing the teams complete uniform makes the jerseys look better. Toronto's jerseys seem plain to some (I love 'em) but the uniform as a whole looks among the best in the league. I like how some of the teams eliminated the bottom stripes because it makes the players look a lot taller now. I only hope that the Oilers complete uniform makes their terrible jersey look better. BTW Tampas complete unis look among the best as well. Ottawa's stink, and San jose has the side number thingy's that the sabres started. Their uni's look to cluttered.

the one thing i AM enjoying about these new Reebok Edge things is that alot of the teams seem to be bringing back the 'vertical pant stripe', instead of using solid colored hockey pants. Glad the Lightning added some color to theirs.

Check out those socks too - probably just practice socks, but they're not bad. Definitely different.

Seems like a lot more people are going for th EDGE system when they see all the teams.
