ReplyDeleteI miss the hint of red accents from the late 80's jerseys. Though I don't miss the super primary color angled jersey with the music bar stripes of the gretzky era there...

ReplyDeleteTry 1967. How many teams have a logo that's over 40 years old? The Bluenote is the most distinctive logo in all of sports.

ReplyDeleteAnd if you don't count '98 as the year that the logo is from, then why wasn't the Pens' logo heralded as a "classic"? It's from 1967 too.
The current (98) logo is awesome. I like the hard edges and colors much better than their previous incarnations.
