The San Jose Sharks held their "State of the Sharks" event on Tuesday night. It's essentially an informational session for fans. Sharks President and Chief Executive Officer Greg Jamison addressed the question of a third jersey for next season.There is a good chance it will be black. It is still being decided on. I can tell you we get input from the fans, staff and the players. The players were very involved in the jerseys for this year. I think the third jersey will be very neat.

ReplyDeleteIt makes sense for the Sharks to make black as their third sweater colour. However, like Drew Bar-Fridge had just said, let's hope the sweater doesn't look like the last black sweater the Sharks had. Too practice-like and no colour. Also, I hope the Sharks keep black as JUST the third sweater colour and stick with teal as their primary. For a league that needs strong television exposure in the US, the NHL needs more colour variety in their teams' uniforms and not too much black and navy.

ReplyDeleteleave philly to go for the orange. hell the giants have orange covered in the bay area. black is fine i guess - just hope its not the same template as the current jersey and maybe they'll mix it up a bit. hoping for the shield, whole shark, or the fin to be the main crest.

ReplyDeleteI hope its not orange.Sharks have never been an orange colored team.The black third jersey they had last time was one of their best ones(along with the teal).
