I don't really like how Rask's mask says RASK right on it. And no offense to him, but the bear looks kind of like a gorilla, haha. On the other hand, he does have a gold cage which I think is awesome.

ReplyDeleteI like how Howard brings in the history of the Red Wings with the Octopus, however... purple? No thank you, not with pink, and not with hockey.

ReplyDeleteI believe octopus on his mask is purple because Al, the octopus that comes out at the JLA during the playoff, is purple.
I know that, but still. It doesn't make for an intimidating mask. I believe the one Rask wears is more intimidating, and the claws on the spoked B is just really well put together. Even if the octopus was purple, I don't like it on the mask.
ReplyDeletei like the vintage detroit cougers/falcons logo on the front of howards, but i hate the purple octopusses and i hate the hockey town he has front and center, much like a jersey text does not look good as the primary and i hate the whole hockey town slogan list of better hockeytowns than detroit:

ReplyDeleteI love that Howard mask; one of the better looking masks in the league (deffinately the best on the Red Wings). I think Rask has a mask that mirrors too many others, so I just can't vote for it.
