However, a great reader sent in a couple of photos he took of the new Buffalo Sabres Rbk EDGE uniforms in the HSBC Arena store. So since I have nothing official, I'll at least show you those for now.
Basically they're last year's sweaters adapted to this year's new cut. And they still have the "slug" on them. What's changed is the NHL shield on the collar. Same as everybody else.
Unfortunately, we still haven't seen photos from CoyotesFest. So if you were there or you've seen pictures taken by someone who was there, please drop me a line. For that matter, if anybody notices the Sabres or Coyotes update their web site with photos, please email me and I'll get right on it.
Oh, and Sabres fans, if you need something to laugh at, click here. Though that might make you cry.
Outside the nice color scheme and the numbering and lettering fonts, I don't like the Buffalo Sabres jerseys at all.
ReplyDeleteNo sweat on the lack of updates, Chris. You're doing just fine in you keeping us informed. It is quite appreciated.
The Phoenix Coyotes are taking ridiculously long to post ANYTHING on their site. It's been over five hours since their unveiling and not a sniff of a update from them. Betcha they want to add multimedia to their news release, that's probably the reason for the hold-up.

ReplyDeleteSums it up for me. Salt the slug, put the yellow somewhere visible and not under the arms where you'll never see it, and get the classic logo back.
duuuuuhhhhh
ReplyDeleteOne thing I noticed was that the white jersey's slug is outlined in in thicker blue. They are trying to eliminate the problem with white space and the yellow of the jersey from a distance which made it hard to see the slug from a distance.
ReplyDeleteThe problem now is that the slug is more visible from a distance.
these are still the bast jerseys in the nhl, no one comes even close, for example dallas, who in hell made those ones, they suck, i mean theres not even a logo on the home jersey. GO SABRES
