In what seems to be an effort to add more blue into the uniform, the Lightning bolt on the pants — which I'm so glad they kept — now has a blue stripe beneath it.
Incidentally, the new Lightning home jersey I ordered online three weeks ago just got shipped today! I can't wait for it to get here!

ReplyDeleteIt's kind of cool I will admit but we'll see after the final package has been put together
ReplyDeleteKind of disappointed they didnt take the wordmark back on the helmets, the full logo on the helmet doesnt work me.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that after playing NHL 08 That seeing the teams complete uniform makes the jerseys look better. Toronto's jerseys seem plain to some (I love 'em) but the uniform as a whole looks among the best in the league. I like how some of the teams eliminated the bottom stripes because it makes the players look a lot taller now. I only hope that the Oilers complete uniform makes their terrible jersey look better. BTW Tampas complete unis look among the best as well. Ottawa's stink, and San jose has the side number thingy's that the sabres started. Their uni's look to cluttered.
ReplyDeletethe one thing i AM enjoying about these new Reebok Edge things is that alot of the teams seem to be bringing back the 'vertical pant stripe', instead of using solid colored hockey pants. Glad the Lightning added some color to theirs.
ReplyDeleteUgliest pants in the league = Tampa Bay
ReplyDeleteI love these uniforms.
ReplyDeleteCheck out those socks too - probably just practice socks, but they're not bad. Definitely different.
ReplyDeleteSeems like a lot more people are going for th EDGE system when they see all the teams.
